FAQs

What do you work on?

We work on pop-ups, travel trailers, fifthwheel trailers, truck campers, class A, B and C motorhomes.

Can you move my trailer?

Our insurance does not cover us hitching up to or moving your trailer.

Do you do insurance work?

We will repair damage, but we will not work with your insurance company for payment. If you choose to submit your receipt to them for re-imbursement, that is up to you.

Do you do warranty work?

We do not work for the trailer or appliance manufacturers. At this time, we will not complete warranty work for them on your behalf. If you choose to submit your receipt to them for re-imbursement, that is up to you.

Can I bring my RV to you?

No. We are a mobile RV repair group and are not able to repair RVs where we are based.

Can you change my motor homes oil?

We will work on the house portion of a motorhome. We will not work on the chassis. This includes the engine, transmission, suspension, axles. For service on these, you will need to work with a mechanic.

Why should I winterize my RV in the south?

Even in the south, there are freezes. If there is water in your lines and they freeze, they can and will break. When they thaw out, this will lead to leaks and damage. Proper winterization is key to preventing this.

What sort of guarantee do you have?

If we cannot get something working, or it is determined a repair is outside our ability, we will not charge you for the service call.

Anything we replace will have a 1 year parts and labor warranty through Rainy Day RV Repair. This only includes parts that are provided by and installed by Rainy Day RV Repair.
